Since 2018, Konecta Foundation has run the Emprende + Discapacidad grant program to support entrepreneurship among people with disabilities.
Through this initiative, Konecta Foundation provides initial support for the creation and development of new entrepreneurial projects by and for people with disabilities, as well as for the growth of initiatives aimed at improving their quality of life. All supported projects fall into one of two categories: those led by individuals with disabilities, and those designed to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
Participants may apply for a grant of €5,000 and access a startup acceleration program led by Fundación ONCE, in which a team of experts will support the winners for one year—helping them shape their business idea, develop and scale their model, and connect with key networks within the disability and eldercare communities.
Objective: To promote and support entrepreneurship among people with disabilities.
