Strategic project with Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (CYD)
Aligning universities with emerging business and societal trends
The Fundación Conocimiento y Desarrollo (CYD), is dedicated to enhancing the contribution of universities to Spain’s economic and social development, fostering an entrepreneurial culture rooted in higher education, and strengthening the link between academia and the business world.
Already working closely with the Fundación CYD, including having a seat on its board, we’re building on this with a new research project on AI.
AI and Emerging Job Profiles
In 2025, Fundación CYD will lead an exclusive research project promoted by Konecta
Foundation. The project will explore:
- The alignment between AI-related academic programs currently offered by Spanish universities
- The emerging job profiles being created across industries, particularly in the BPO sector
- Gaps between training and real-world needs in the age of AI
This initiative aims to become a reference point for aligning education with the future of work, ensuring that universities play an active role in shaping the workforce for the digital and AI- driven economy.
